Watch Together grew out of real family movie nights during the 2020 lockdown, when staying connected meant keeping a Skype call open and trying to press play at exactly the same time.
One private room instead of a countdown.
Create a room, share the six-digit code and let LODB keep the authorised playback state together. The host controls the canonical play/pause/seek state while participants stay on the same moment.

In 2020 our family movie nights needed a Skype call, a countdown and a lot of “what timestamp are you on?” Watch Together is my attempt to make that experience feel like everyone really pressed play in the same room.
