In this policy, “LODB”, “Live Or Die Baby”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the LODB Website and related website services.

This policy applies to the Website, including public pages, account areas and community features. It does not turn your separately installed, self-hosted LODB Customer Server into a website tracker. Your own LODB server, Desktop Player and mobile clients operate separately and communicate with the server or services you configure.

2. What we mean by cookies and trackers

A cookie is a small piece of information stored by your browser. Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, tracking pixels, scripts, tags, device identifiers, link-decoration techniques and other storage or access technologies.

3. Categories we may use

3.1 Strictly necessary technologies

These are used where required to provide a service or feature you request or to operate it securely. Depending on the WordPress configuration and plugins enabled on the Website, examples may include:

4. WordPress accounts and community features

WordPress and plugins used for registration, sign-in, account management, comments, forums or community features can set technical or security cookies. Those technologies are used by the Website and are separate from the media catalogue, viewing history and other data held on a customer’s own self-hosted LODB server.

5. LODB software downloads

Downloading the Windows server, Desktop Player, Android app, Linux server or UGREEN DXP4800 Plus Docker image does not itself give the Website permission to track activity inside your self-hosted media library. Software may maintain local settings, session information, diagnostic information or update state as required for its own operation and as described by the relevant software or privacy information.

6. Consent and your choices

Where a cookie or similar technology is not strictly necessary and consent is required, it should not be activated before you have been given an appropriate choice. You should be able to refuse optional technologies as well as accept them, and you may change or withdraw your choice later through the Website’s cookie/privacy controls where provided.

Simply continuing to browse is not treated by this policy as a blanket agreement to optional tracking.

7. How long technologies are kept

Some technologies last only for the current browser session; others may remain for a defined period so they can remember a choice or maintain an account function.
